My Passion

Both Social Media and Sport have the incredible power to connect people in very different ways, and at the point where the two intersect, there is such a unique community that is brought together by two things - the ability to reach one another through communication and the ability to relate to one another through a shared passion.

In my work with sports media, beginning in high school journalism, I recognized the passion I have for that really special intersection. Content allows people who have a love for a sport, athlete, team, or even a place to connect with that love and share it with others within that community.

There is a unique experience in sharing athlete personalities, making people feel involved, creating with the intention to entirely immerse people in an experience - it adds a whole new layer to creating content with intention. Bringing fans the game, and then bringing fans the people behind the game is something that I've strived to do. The personalities behind sports and sports fans alike make the most special relationship.

I love the power that sports hold to unite people over a single passion, and I love the power that social media holds to make that passion so accessible to individuals.
